Update on Hair Journey

Ok so my previous blog I did the b/c. After about 2 months + of transitioning. I was really enjoying the free n natural thing till my mind went blank and options started looking like slim pickings in my hair world. As many of you know my hair is my ma~ jor statement. I reinvent the wheel everytime, so needless to say ive i had gotten bored. So I decided to get some hair sewed~in.And I loved it, but this 2 has come with extra boredum. Time for something new yet again. Pics soon once I take this friggin sew in out. And of.course, ReInvent myself thru another Spunky yet so ME hair~do. Till next time. My New Hair Journey

So I've decided like many to start keeping track of my Nappy Journey and i know most don't like the word, But guess what it's my blog so i will be using it frequently (lol).

So i decided about 2 mos ago to start transitioning no perms was my definition of it all. 

As i started to look more into maintenance and up keep i learned more about products and what to do and Not to do to my hair.

Bought a few products to test.

Then one day i went into Walgreens for the normal needs for the house and personal's and stumbled on the 

Shea Moisture Transition Kit,

I was rather excited to see it. SO i went home got online look up the products and decided 2 days later i would 

go back and purchase along with some perm rods for a new transition style i had picked on YOUTUBE.

Didn't see what the product had really done for my hair but it felt better (guess it's working)

I used the product for a few weeks following the perm rod set and didn't much like when i first took the rollers out. but as the day's went by i started playing with my hair more needless to say I LOVED IT and started rolling my hair once a week for 3 weeks.

I got a comment from a lady from a natural hair forum one day about 2.5 weeks ago.

In i went in the bathroom and started chopping all my hair off.

Silly i know but was tired of the 2 different textures and just decided i wanted hair freedom.

Now most of you don't know me. 

SO i will give you a brief overview of my hair history.

I went from weaves love braids to sew in quick weaves, short do's and wigs that i still have under the sink.

Spent Hundreds of Dollars like most at Hair Salons, cause i had to stay fly!!!

SO needless to stay I was scared of the outcome of being natural..

God gave it to me i figured so what could be more beautiful than that.

B/C i did it. Now i'm not a EXPERT but for this chunky face of mine i love my hair now, And i look forward to all the creative things that i will be able to do in time!! 

It's Been 2 weeks and i already see a difference in not only my hair but my attitude. 

I rock my hair like i just came out the shop and i OWN the world... 

Greatest thing i could have done for myself and my self esteem!!!

 Currently using Shea products doing my co-washes 

Not to big on the enhancer curl stuff but i use it now to give it at least a month and if i don't like it or doesn't give me what i think i should be getting from it, i will not purchase it again.

But the shampoo is great the conditioner is good and i love the spray..

WHo Cares?

Such a broad spectrum..

Who cares if my hair is not in perfect position.

or my pants dont fit right.

Who cares if i succeed or fail

Who cares what  kinda car i drive

Or if they shoes i wear lean to the side.

Who cares if i yell or scream at the top of my lungs

Make front of people cause they look DUMB

Who cares if i cry at movies cause it reminded me of my past

Or ended my relationship cause i knew it wouldnt last.

Who cares if the President is black as long as he DOES THE RIGHT THING.

Or if i wear a little bling that's definitely not a wedding ring

Society makes it that you have to look or feel a certain way to be normal

When in fact  WE all were created different

Unique in our own, People of the past paved the way..

To live like free regardless of race. 

Or a brand new car with rims in the middle of day.

All these things might not make sense to you 

But what do you care about

MY MIND WANDERS TO MUCH..

YOU EVER JUST WANT TO BE ALONE? THEN YOU NEED TO THINK SO BAD YOU CAN'T THINK? OR THINK TO MUCH.LOL.. 

THAT'S ME SOMETIMES JUST ALL OVER THE PLACE.. SO MUCH TO DO IN WHAT FEELS SO LITTLE TIME. IT'S GETTING TO BE QUITE OVERWHELMING..

AND YES FROM MY PREVIOUS BLOG ON SATURDAY MORNING I DID ACCOMPLISH TAKING DOWN THE HAIR AND SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY. IT' WAS NICE EVEN GOT MY ROOM A LITTLE MORE ORGANIZED...

BACK TO THE WANDERING MIND.. YOU WILL HAVE TO EXCUSE ME AS MY MIND WONDERS SO MUCH AT TIMES I OFTEN FORGET WHAT I WAS TALKING OR TYPING ABOUT! IM NOT BLONDE AND NO OFFENSE TO THE ONES THAT ARE..

WELL BACK TO THE WANDERING MIND I JUST DONT KNOW SOMETIMES IF WHAT IM DOING IS RIGHT OR GOOD ENOUGH.. I'LL GATHER SOME THOUGHTS IN MY HEAD AND NEXT THEY SEEM LIKE GOOD IDEAS.. MY NEXT GOAL WHICH WILL BE A 6-7 DAY GOAL 

IS TO STAY FOCUSED, AT WORK AT HOME, AND ON WHAT MY LONG TERM GOALS ARE AS WELL..

2)IS TO BOOK ANOTHER COOKIE LEE PARTY, AND GET THAT STARTED BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH.

3)FIND OUT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT SOME POSSIBLE ONLINE CLASSES FOR NURSING. (I AM A REGISTERED MEDICAL ASSISTANT) 

4) COMPLETE ALL TASK AND GOALS ASSIGNED
